Tucked away in a small private room with panoramic ocean views, Cara,  The Chanler's signature Forbes Five-Star restaurant, offers contemporary and creative blind-tasting menus inspired by European elegance and sustainable New England ingredients. Executive Chef Jacob Jasinski lets the food take center stage with avant-garde cuisine, creating new dishes daily to highlight ingredients harvested at their peak. The kitchen team thoughtfully presents and explains each dish to provide a storied view into the creative process, creating a dynamic interaction between the chefs, service team, and guests. An optional wine pairing from the extensive beverage list recognized by Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence is curated nightly for each dish.

Non-Peak Season:  October 16, 2024 - April 30, 2025

The experience begins at  6:00 pm with a 6-course Blind Tasting

$165 per guest plus tax and gratuity  (optional wine pairing $115 per guest)


Dietary: Tastings include both meat and seafood. For severe allergies, multiple restrictions, vegetarians, or vegans, we recommend the prix-fixe menu at The Chanler Café.

Dress Code: There is no dress code at any of The Chanler's restaurants, ensuring your comfort is prioritized. At Cara, many guests choose to wear business chic attire during dinner. Please feel free to dress in a way that lets you fully immerse yourself in the ambiance and enjoy your dining experience to the fullest.

Cancellation Policy: To preserve the intimate ambiance of our restaurant, we kindly ask for a prepayment, including a 20% service charge, for the tasting menu. This prepayment is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled at least 72 hours before the scheduled time. The Cara dining experience is not recommended for children under 12.
